Santa Muerte is revered by drug traffickers and criminals who pray to the skeletal figure for miracles. Her origin dates back centuries to the Spanish colonial period in Mexico. When the Spanish arrived, they brought with them an image of the Grim Reaper, which reminded Mesoamericans of gods and goddesses they worshipped personifying death. They ended up interpreting the Grim Reaper their own way. Her appeal lies in her non-judgemental nature. It is said she gives people what they want and when they finish their cycle of life here on earth she comes for their souls.
PRAYER SANTA MUERTE
Santa Muerte of my heart, do not abandon me of your protection. Santa Muerte, White One, use your power to take away disease from my home, and may health be with all my loved ones; give us light and strength.
You are the protection against evils and dangers, remove my enemies and open a path for them, so that they have no more anger against me, close their eyes of hatred against me, and give them the power, so that they find inner peace.
You who helps love, brings passion and good understanding, in all my loved ones, so that we live in peace, and love forever and ever.
Help us to banish evil from our body, from our soul, from our spirit, home, or work, or any harm that they do to us directly or indirectly, to close our paths, consume any witchcraft or sorcery, take envy away from my home, and the discords of people of bad character, grant them the wish to have what they need, to obtain their inner peace, and so they do not continue harming more people.
I ask you to bring harmony, wisdom, and peace to my home, so that with this harmony I can achieve the progress, and prosperity of my family. I ask you with great faith, that you bring the money and the protection to my business, call clients and let come abundance to me, that nothing is missing in my home.
With this prayer, I ask for protection. I ask you to listen to my requests, and to remove bad presence from me, and like a faithful deer, I will spread your devotion, as spiritual nourishment, for everyone. So be it, so be it, and so it shall be. Amen.

Santa Muerte de mi corazón, no me desampares de tu protección, Santa Muerte Niña Blanca, haz que tú poder aleje la enfermedad de mi hogar, y que la salud esté con todos mis seres queridos, danos luz y fortaleza.
Tú eres la protección a los males y a los daños, aleja mis enemigos y ábreles el camino, para que no tengan más ira, en contra mía, cierra sus ojos del odio en contra mía, y dales el poder, para que encuentren paz interior.
Tú que ayudas al amor, acerca la pasión y el buen entendimiento, en todos mis seres queridos, para que vivamos en paz, y amor por los siglos de los siglos.
Ayúdanos a que se destierre de nuestro cuerpo, de nuestra alma, de nuestro espíritu, casa o trabajo, cualquier mal o daño que nos hagan directa o indirectamente, para cerrar nuestros caminos, consume cualquier brujería o hechicería, aleja de mi hogar las envidias, y las discordias de la gente de mal carácter, concédeles el deseo de tener lo que necesitan, para obtener su paz interior, y que así no sigan perjudicando a más gente. Te pido que traigas la armonía, la sabiduría y paz a mi hogar, para que con esta armonía pueda lograr el progreso, y la prosperidad de mi familia.
