SAN JUDAS TADEO
"PATRON SAINT OF LOST CAUSES AND DESPERATE CASES"
St. Jude, one of the Twelve Apostles, is considered a martyr and is venerated by many of Mexico's marginal youth. He is the patron saint of the desperate and hopeless, which likely contributes to his veneration among the poor and powerless. In traditional representations, he is depicted holding a staff with his right hand and, in apocryphal depictions embraced by criminals, in the left meaning he is open to prayers and petitions that he would never consider with the staff at his right. St. Jude is the only Catholic saint in the world who has a monthly feast day.
PRAYER SAINT JUDE
O Holy St. Jude, Apostle and Martyr, great in virtue and rich in miracles, I place myself into your hands at this difficult time. Help me to know that I am not alone.
Please pray for me, send me comfort for my sorrows, bravery for my fears, and healing for my suffering. Strengthen my faith and give me the courage to accept your will for my life.
Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings particularly (here mention your petition).
I promise you, O blessed Jude to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

O Santo San Judas, Apóstol y Mártir, grande en virtudes y rico en milagros, me pongo en tus manos en este momento difícil. Ayúdame a saber que no estoy solo.
Por favor, reza por mí, envíame consuelo por mis dolores, valentía por mis miedos y sanación por mi sufrimiento. Fortalece mi fe y dame el valor para aceptar tu voluntad para mi vida.
Ven en mi ayuda en esta gran necesidad para que pueda recibir los consuelos y el socorro del cielo en todas mis necesidades, tribulaciones y sufrimientos en particular (aquí menciona tu petición).
